Week 1 of CrossFit

So, I finished my first week of CF 101 fundamentals class. My body feels like one huge bruise...ouch. That Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS, yo!) is no joke. Even though I can barely function, I have enjoyed it. I have one more week of CF 101 and then it's on to the regular workouts. I am excited (and scared to death, but I am managing). Tonight I am going to give the P90x Ab Ripper X a shot...since my abs are the only muscles that aren't in major pain.

Making strides

So, I haven't blogged in awhile. Now that I don't have a garden theme, I forget about it. I am really going to miss that garden this year!

Moving along...I am doing great! I have lost 47 lbs. Woo hoo! I have 31 more to go to get to my goal weight. I have really been enjoying jogging...it's drug status now, I crave it. I think as the weather continues to warm up, the weight will fall off more rapidly. Also, I start CrossFit this week. I am nervous, excited, doubtful, positive, scared, bold, determined, and chicken. I have no idea what to expect, but I do expect results...hopefully this will get me to my goal even quicker with nice muscle tone.

That's all I've got. Things are great and I am so focused it's scary. Watch out! ha!
